Paediatric Services

Paediatric support for children and families with unique needs in Northern NSW

0-12 Months

Babies

Our paediatric services (0-12 months) include prematurity gross motor screening, early intervention, and specialised techniques for issues like torticollis, hip dysplasia, and neurological concerns.

1-3 Years

Toddlers

Our paediatric services (1-3 years) address gross motor delays, developmental coordination delay, and manage issues like clumsiness, frequent falls, injuries, persistent infant movement patterns (toe walking, specific postures), and concerns related to W sitting.

3-5 Years

Preschool Kids

For preschoolers (3-5 years), we focus on balance, posture, and coordination. We offer advice on weight, physical activity, and specialised attention to poor core strength, often observed as a preference for lying down or flopping on the table.

5-12 Years

Primary School Kids

Services for primary school children (5-12 years) target joint, muscle, or nervous system problems causing weakness, pain, or movement difficulties. We manage chronic conditions and address challenges like difficulties with sitting, fidgeting and an inability to stay still.

12-18 Years

Teens

Our services for teens encompass addressing growth or sports injuries to bones, joints, muscles, and ligaments. We aid in recovery after surgery or illness, focusing on improving strength, movement, overall function, and independence.

Our Approach

Goal-Directed and Family-Centered

Every intervention is aimed at enhancing your child’s participation and quality of life across various domains, from home life to community, school, and sports engagement.
